A first for everything

Well this is my first post in my new blog. I need somewhere to unwind and why not jump on the blog bandwagon? I am a new mom and well I knew the job would be hard, I didn't know how hard. Don't get me wrong, it's great but it is the most demanding thing I have ever done and likely will ever do in my life!

My mom might get out of the hospital on Sunday. She has been in now for almost 10 days. Saw her last night and she looked good. She has started eating and has had two showers now. Must feel good to shower after 8 days of lying in a hospital bed. We hope to get the pathology report back before Sunday. It will be good to know next steps for treatment.

Life has been busy but I am glad I have this time off to spend with Abbi and my mom. Speaking of which, Abbi is calling. gotta run,
